Chiranjeevi in More Trouble

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s journey into the political portal is turning out to be very rocky. First there was the chaos that killed 10 and injured 30 at his party launch. Then there was high BP regarding plagiarism of his party's name. Here is the latest bitter tasting hiccup.

A fortnight ago two cheerful people got married in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi was also quite cheerful when he congratulated the newly weds.

But this little photo session turned into something more embarrassing than Amitabh Bacchan in 'Boom'. The parents of the bride alleged that the marriage happened without their approval. And to add the red mascara, they also pointed fingers at poor Chiru, saying he encouraged the runaway bride and the groom to get married.

The bride's mom, positively fuming with rage said, "Is this the kind of service he plans to do by starting a political party? I am sure that his involvement is there in kidnapping us for a while and getting my daughter married."

She also laid it on thicker by saying that Chiranjeevi has more or less adopted the girl as his daughter.

Now you're wondering as to how Chiru ended up at the wedding? Well it just so happens that the groom's father is a member of Praja Rajyam, Chiru's political party.

Weddings and Chiranjeevi just don't mix. This little episode adds to the long, sad history of Chiru involved in embarrassing weddings....last October his daughter Srija eloped to marry and she publicly accused her father of being a threat to her husband's life.
