Ashutosh wins Bigg Boss 2, gets Rs 1 crore

After winning the fifth season of MTV Roadies, Ashutosh Kaushik has won yet another reality show, this time the second season of Bigg Boss.

And it gets better - he has amassed a booty of a cool 1 CRORE for the prize money! Ashu, as he is fondly called, unexpectedly turned out to be one of the top 3 finalists along with Zulfi Syed and Raja Chaudhury.

Just six months ago, Ashu was flipping rotis at a dhaba in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh which was his only source of income. The Rs 1 crore should certainly make his life cheerier. Former Miss World Diana Hayden should be impressed too.

It was not all plain sailing for the lad, because he was nominated for eviction three times on the show by the other contestants. Fortunately for him, his large number of fans across the country saved him from eviction.

While in the Bigg Boss house, Ashutosh was often accused of using foul language and criticised for his unhealthy living habits. His early morning dance on a wake-up song along with his humorous antics and one-liners became his trademark and a major source of entertainment for the viewers.

Ashu also won the 'Mr Honest' title, and was awarded a sprightly night of movies and eats in the delux room of Bigg Boss. The 'Jumbo Finale' of the show featured host Shilpa Shetty as well as Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who was there to promote the animation movie, Jumbo.
